The Central Technology Internship Cell (CTIC) under Institution’s Innovation Council, Calcutta University is going to offer Summer Internship Training Program in the cutting-edge technologies related to core and multidisciplinary areas of electrical, electronic, computing and chemical technologies to upgrade the skill of engineering students. The topics or areas of internship will be provided under faculty members and/ laboratories under the various technology departments/ schools/centres.
Applications are invited for Summer Internships 2026
Important information regarding the Summer Internship Training Program.
The student registered under a AICTE approved technology program for Academic Session 2024-2025 or passed out.
The tentative duration of the internship shall be between 4-6 weeks, starting from 15th June.
Each selected candidates will have to deposit a non-refundable internship fee of INR 4000 (Four Thousand only).
Closing date for submission of online form: 20 May 2026
The Screening of applications will be conducted by the Centralized Technology Internship Cell of the IIC-CU.
No accommodation OR food will be arranged for the interns by the CTIC, IIC-CU.
Applications must be submitted through the IIC-CU web portal only.
Offline applications and applications through emails shall not be entertained.
After the deadline, no applications shall be accepted.

Self-attested copy of last semester examination certificate
Institute ID and AADHAAR card scan copy.
Bonafide certificate from the Principal/Dean of the current / last institution.

Publication of name of selected candidates in IIC-CU portal
Confirmation mail on selection after submission of the internship fee.
Provisionally Selected candidates shall be informed through emails only/ published in the IIC-CU website.
The provisionally selected candidates need to deposit the internship fees to the designated bank account for being eligible in the final selection list.
The list of finally selected interns shall also be informed through emails and displayed on the IIC-CU website.
No separate communication shall be sent to non-selected candidates.
A candidate must be present at least 75% of the total contact hours/ duration of the program.
Successfully completed the evaluation criteria as set by the corresponding internship supervisor.
Upon successful completion of the internship, an intern will be issued internship completion certificate from the IIC-CU.

The interns shall be governed by the Institute rules and regulations during their stay in the Institute.
The provisionally selected candidates need to deposit the internship fees to the designated bank account for being eligible in the final selection list.
